What is NICE 2019?
NICE 2019 is a one day annual conference that brings together the latest developments in clinical improvement, health technologies and patient-centred quality care.

The 2019 event theme is transforming care. It will feature three parallel streams of breakout sessions focused on:

- Guidance and evidence
Who organises NICE 2019?
NICE 2019 is an event that runs in partnership between The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and Dods.
Where will NICE 2019 be held?
This one day conference will take place at the Hilton Deansgate Hotel Manchester on 9 May 2019. There will be a pre-event networking reception at the venue on 8 May 2019 from 7pm.

Can I book my sessions in advance?
Yes, you can select the breakout sessions you would like to attend in advance via the registration login.
When will I receive my badge?
Your badge will be available for collection from the registration desk on arrival to the conference.
When will I receive the joining instructions for the event?
You will receive joining instructions via email two weeks prior to the conference. If you have not received any joining instructions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What if I need to cancel my place at the event after I’ve registered?
Please email us at email@example.com to cancel your booking. Please be aware cancellation terms apply in the conference booking terms and conditions.
When will I receive my invoice for the event?
Invoices will be emailed to everyone one month prior to the event date. If you require your invoice before this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Will the presentations from NICE 2019 be put up online after the event?
We will work with our speakers to upload as many presentations as possible. Some presentations will not be uploaded if the speaker has not given us permission to do so.
Is NICE 2019 CPD accredited?
Yes, the event is CPD accredited. NICE 2019 has been accredited for Continuing Professional Development credits. One hour of learning at NICE equates to one CPD credit, for example the full day of attendance will equate to 6 CPD credits. If you would like an electronic copy of your CPD certificate emailed to you after the conference, or would like more information, please contact email@example.com.
Will my data be shared, if so, who with?
Your data will be shared with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, Dods and additional third parties as outlined in our privacy notice.
Is catering provided?
Lunch and refreshments will be provided as part of the registration fee. You will be able to inform us of any dietary requirement during the registration process however if you do need to contact us to inform us about any dietary requirements, please contact us via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is the dress code for the event?
Your usual office attire.
Will there be photography at the event?
There will be an official photographer at the conference. If you do not want your photograph used in any materials, please let the photographer know.
What is the Shared Learning Awards 2019?
The NICE Shared Learning Awards recognise and reward examples of how NICE guidance and standards have been put into practice. Three projects will be presented at a special NICE 20th anniversary reception the night before the NICE Annual Conference on 8th May, where the audience will vote live for the winner!
When is the Shared Learning Awards 2019?
The NICE Shared Learning Awards will take place from 19:00 on 8 May at the Hilton Deansgate Manchester Hotel during a pre-event networking reception, which will celebrate 20 years of NICE.
Is the Shared Learning Awards and anniversary networking reception free to attend?
Yes, the evening event is open to all conference delegates. Please inform us that you will be attending during the registration process.

Is accommodation included in the ticket price?
No, delegate hotel accommodation will need to be booked separately. If you require accommodation for the event, please see the accommodation pages to see the preferential rates Marketing Manchester has secured at various hotels in close proximity to the venue.
