Submitting questions during the conference
For most sessions at the conference, you will be able to ask any questions to the speakers using a microphone. For these sessions, please indicate you have a question by raising your hand. If selected by the session chair a member of conference staff will provide you with a microphone to pose your question.
For the conference opening plenary there will be an online system called Sli.do to facilitate questions.
To ask a question during these questions, please go to www.slido.com and type in event code #NICEConf19. These details will appear on the screen during the Q&A part of these sessions.
We’ will be tweeting in the run-up to and during the event. Please use hashtag #NICEConf19 to join the conversation and follow @NICEComms and @DodsGroup for live updates.
After the morning coffee break, we will be running parallel breakout sessions.
During online booking, you will have been asked to select which breakout sessions you would like to attend whilst at the conference. Please be aware that some of the breakout sessions are fully booked. For these sessions, those attendees who have pre-selected the session will be allowed first entry into the session rooms. If you have not selected the session, we kindly ask that you wait outside the room until you are invited by the door managers to enter. This is to allow those who have pre-selected the session during initial registration online the opportunity to enter first.
If you would like to change the breakouts you would like to attend on the day, please check with the registration team if there is availability. If you are unsure which sessions you have booked to attend, please ask our registration team.
Please ensure that you wear your badge at all times. Your badge indicates the sessions you have booked to attend and room managers will be present at the entrance to these sessions to check your badge.
